Matthew Broderick hurt by horse

Matthew Broderick broke his collar bone after he was flung from a horse while holidaying in Ireland with his wife. The actor had been galloping along a beach with his spouse 'Failure To Launch' actress Sarah Jessica Parker when he was thrown to the ground, and left screaming in agony. Sarah rushed him to a local doctor's surgery by car where he was examined and before being stretchered into an ambulance, wearing a neck brace. An eyewitness said: "One minute they appeared to be trotting on the sand. Then his wife was looking worried. "They were walking back to the road and three horses were walking behind them. It was obvious something nasty had happened." Speaking from the family's Irish cottage in Donegal, Matthew's sister, Janet Kraft, said: "He's fine now. His arm is in a sling, but he's going to be OK." Sarah was later seen in a local corner shop stocking up on supplies for her recuperating husband.The couple were due to holiday in Ireland for two weeks with their three-year-old son James.
It is not yet known whether they will have to cut their trip short or extend their stay to allow Matthew more time to recover.
