Good Friend - Not a Good Neighbour

Former 'Friends' star Matthew Perry has infuriated his neighbours by refusing to say hello to them.

The actor recently moved into an apartment in Hollywood's Sierra Towers and residents have complained that he is not making any effort to be a good neighbour.One is quoted by the New York Post newspaper as saying: "He never responds when we say hello! Every time one of us walks into the elevator and he is there, we always say 'hi' because it is nice and neighbourly, and he always looks away and ignores us." The unnamed neighbour added that because most of the residents are elderly they don't even know that Perry is an international star.The source added: "Most people don't know who he is - they didn't watch 'Friends,' they watched 'Golden Girls.' Who does he think he is?"
