Unknown to play Transformers babe

Little-known actress Megan Fox is to star in the new 'Transformers' movie.The brunette beauty will play Mikaela the love interest of Spike Witwicky, played by actor Shia LaBeouf, in the live-action adaptation based on the hugely popular 80s Hasbro toys.LaBeouf's character helps repair the Autobots - heroic robots who can transform into a variety of vehicles and weapons, including cars, planes and guns - in their battle against their arch-enemies the Decepticons.Fox previously starred in hit teen film 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen' with Lindsay Lohan and US TV series 'Hope & Faith'.Shooting on the movie is expected to start later this month, in Los Angeles, and will be directed by 'Armageddon' filmmaker Michael Bay.
