Gibson: 'Drink-driving Incident Was A Gift'.MEL GIBSON has branded his July (06) drink-driving arrest, in which he made anti-Semitic remarks to a police officer, "A gift."The actor/director believes his controversial outburst against a Los Angeles cop was a blessing in disguise, as it has helped him regain focus in his life.Gibson also hopes to help others learn from the incident, and plans to "touch lives".He says, "I got a skinful and mouthed off, which is not coming from a good place, but I'm moving on from that."(It was) a gift because it's made me really scratch my head and focus on a couple of things that I needed to."It's working out real positive, and hopefully that's reflecting in the lives that I'll touch."0Comments | Be the first to comment!
