Unable to find Holly, a frantic Jason (Ryan Thomas) tells Gail (Helen Worth) and Sarah (Tina OBrien) hes lost her. Panicking they call 999 just as Eileen (Sue Cleaver) arrives with Holly, having taken her for a walk. With calm restored Jason talks to Violet (Jenny Platt), confiding that a part of him was glad shed gone, and as hes left home alone again holding the baby its clear hes come to a major decision. Picking up the phone Jason dials social services, but will he be able to go through with his plan? Realising the impact his night with Tracy (Kate Ford) has had on Michelle (Kym Ryder), Steve (Simon Gregson) decides to build on this and asks Tracy out. He knows hes playing with fire but as he and Michelle try to get one over on each other about their respective partners it looks like his plan is working. As she goes on her date with Sonny (Pal Aron) Michelle taunts Steve, leaving Tracy asking some difficult questions about their relationship. Elsewhere, Chesneys (Sam Aston) hanging out at the Battersbys' again, watching TV and eating pizza, and when he hides behind the sofa as Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) looks for him it appears that Cillas (Wendi Peters) winning the war. She wants him home for good but Les (Bruce Jones) warns her not to push him. Are Cillas dirty tricks working on Chesney? And Carlas (Alison King) unamused by Pauls (Sean Gallagher) lack of interest in her new business venture.
