Michael Jackson is reportedly planning to adopt a Japanese orphan. The eccentric singer - who already has three children, Prince Michael, nine, Paris, eight, and four-year-old Prince Michael II - is alleged to have visited a number of Japanese children's homes during his current visit to the Far East.Fox News TV reporter Roger Friedman said: "His trip to Japan was not all about publicity and quick self-gratification for a dimmed star with no fans. He toured orphanages. I'm told he's looking for children to add to his current collection of three."Jackson has been touring the Far East in a bid to raise his profile before he attempts to relaunch his pop career later this year. The 47-year-old star, who was acquitted of child sex abuse charges last year (05), is currently locked in a legal battle with ex-wife Debbie Rowe over custody of their two children, Prince Michael and Paris.Jackson's alleged plan to adopt has been attacked by Friedman who claims the 'Billie Jean' singer should not be allowed to take in an orphan because of the child molestation accusations previously made against him.Friedman added: "Why Japanese authorities would let Jackson leave their country with children would be a good question. You'd think standing trial for child molestation would be an impediment to adoption."

Jackson has so far refused to comment on the reports.
