Mischa Barton can't understand why she isn't more famous in the UK.The 'OC' actress - who was born in London but moved to New York when she was five - moaned that despite enjoying huge fame in the US people don't recognise her in her native country. She said: "I'm so surprised nobody really knows me in England. It's just unbelievable. I have to introduce myself, which I never have to do in the States."The 20-year-old actress has also been whinging that she is having a tough time distancing herself from her character Marissa, the rich brat character she played in 'The O.C'.She said: "People assume I'm from Orange Country. Marissa hasn't seen much outside her bubble, but I like people to discern that I'm an English/Irish girl who grew up in New York and moved around a lot with my dad's job."Mischa is so determined to move into more serious acting roles that she has enrolled on a course at the Royal Academy for the Dramatic Arts (RADA) - London's prestigious drama school this summer.
