Mischa Barton wants to be a Bond girl.

The former 'The O.C.' actress is a huge fan of the spy series and has issued a come and get me plea to the makers of the next 007 adventure, tentatively titled 'Bond 22'.

She said: "I'd love to be a Bond girl!

"I mean, what girl wouldn't - it's kind of like a dream."

If Mischa gets her wish, she will follow in the footsteps of a host of screen beauties, including Halle Berry, Eva Green, Ursula Andress and Honor Blackman.

However, the 21-year-old actress faces some stiff competition from Juliette Lewis.

The 'Natural Born Killers' star recently revealed she wants to be a Bond girl and is convinced she could give any of the previous actresses a run for their money.
