Nadine Coyle wants to launch a solo career in the US.
The Girls Aloud singer would enjoy performing alone and believes all of her bandmates would be successful if they chose to pursue a music career on their own.
Nadine said: "I can see all of us in Girls Aloud going solo. I like singing - that's what I do - so I could go back home and sing with who I used to sing with in Derry. Or I could sing in Los Angeles."
Nadine said: I'm definitely the singer
It has been claimed Nadine is considering leaving the chart-topping group because she is jealous of her bandmate Cheryl Cole's success following her stint as a judge on UK TV talent show 'The X Factor'.
Former Girls Aloud manager Louis Walsh has reportedly said he'll make 23-year-old Nadine a solo star if she ever quits, and the star believes her voice is strong enough to make it on her own.
Nadine said: "I'm definitely the singer. I do most of the vocals."
Cracks seemingly began to appear in Nadine's relationship with her bandmates in 2006, when she moved to Los Angeles, while the rest of the group stayed in Britain.
She further enraged the other girls last year when she missed a flight back to London to join them at the BRIT Awards.Nadine also failed to take part in reality TV show 'The Passions Of... Girls Aloud' and missed a performance on a radio show. But Nadine has recently denied claims the group is going to split up for good. She said: "I like to have loads of things going on at the same time. We can do whatever we want as well as being in Girls Aloud. We can always come back to the band."
