America Ferrera - who plays geeky editorial assistant Betty Suarez - said the Spice Girl was willing to be humiliated and happily poked fun at her public image.

She said: "She was wonderful. It always brings something to the show when we have someone new come in.

"She definitely came with the right attitude. If you're not willing to be humiliated then you don't belong on our show."
