Nicola Roberts is ready for marriage.

The Girls Aloud singer is growing increasingly close to Charlie Fennel, who she has been dating for around eight months, and has admitted to her bandmates she is thinking about being his wife.

A source said: "Nicola's head-over-heels in love with Charlie. The other day Cheryl Cole made a joke about them being the next to marry, despite being together the least amount of time.

Nicola laughed it off, but she did say, 'You never know girls.' She's working hard on the home she bought for them.

Nicola, 23, is not the only member of Girls Aloud considering tying the knot.

Kimberley Walsh - who has been dating her boyfriend Justin Scott for six years - is dreaming about walking down the aisle, but is waiting for her man to pop the question.

The 27-year-old star said: "I want to get married. Everyone has recently been asking when we'll do it which has put some pressure on Justin. But I'm sure he'll do it when he's ready. It will happen one day - if he's lucky!"
