Nicole Kidman is reportedly desperate to wed new boyfriend Steve Bing.
Sources claim the couple will discuss marriage plans during a romantic break over Christmas in Nicole's native Australia.
The Oscar-winning actress, who has been dating Liz Hurley's ex for the past three months, has hired 20,000GBP-a-week villa at Sydney's Palm Beach and has invited Steve to stay there with Nicole and her two children, Isabella and Conor, over the festive period.
A friend revealed to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Nicole is ready to commit to Steve. She has asked him to spend Christmas with her and her two children during the three-week break.
That's a sure sign she is desperately serious."
Nicole - who was married to ex-husband Tom Cruise for ten years - has been single since splitting from rock star Lenny Kravitz earlier this year.
However, she has made no secret of her desire to settle down. She recently said: "I'm hoping to meet someone and be happy with them." Earlier this year, Nicole claimed she was not looking for a perfect man - but instead would prefer someone with flaws.
She said at the time: "I don't want perfect.
I like all of the flaws, and I like discovering all of the things that go into making up a complicated, interesting person who can keep me fascinated. Perfect? I'd be bored."
