Pacino To Play Dr. Death In TV Movie

Al Pacino is to play euthanasia activist Dr. Jack Kevorkian in a star-studded new TV movie.

The Scar face actor will team up with Susan Sarandon, John Goodman and Danny Huston in Barry Levinson's You Don't Know Jack.

Kevorkian was dubbed Dr. Death when he stunned the world with his 'Mercy Machine' in the early 1990s, and performed his first assisted suicide.

This saw him serve 8 years in jail for a second-degree murder, Dr. Kavorkian was then released in 2007 for good behaviour and has been touring the country making public appearances.

Ben Kingsley was originally targeted for , but  was ultimately handed to Al Pacino, who will undoubtedly use his drama skills to lure your full attention if not believe in every word he says.

The actor won an Oscar for Best Actor back in 1992 with his role Scent of a Woman since then he has gone on to grace the big screen starring in Oceans Thirteen.
