Was Pam Anderson already gearing up for Halloween? Or has she just extended some of this year's Easter festivities?Neither... Ms Anderson was on hand the other day to introduce her pal PETA honcho Dan Mathews at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. Mathews read from Committed, his new memoir about life in the animal rights movement.So, what's with the rabbit head? Mathews appeared at the reading in a bunny costume, as he does on the back of the book's jacket in a photo by rocker-photographer Bryan Adams.

Chris Rock Hates It

Chris Rock is a hater - and that's a good thing!

The funnyman is finally going to appear on his hit CW comedy, Everybody Hates Chris. Until now, Rock has stayed behind the cameras as the two-year-old show's narrator (it's loosely based on his life growing up in Brooklyn), cocreator and executive producer.

Rock announced his upcoming appearance at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' Everybody Hates Chris panel discussion in Hollywood, which was moderated by his buddy, Frasier star Kelsey Grammer.Rock stayed tight-lipped on his plans, only saying, "Yeah! More ratings!"But Rock certainly didn't hold back when reminiscing about his three years on Saturday Night Life.

"I remember when you hosted," Rock said to Grammer, who directed Everybody's season finale, airing May 14. "I was there, and you gave me some weed."And I'm happy to report we'll get the chance to catch some of Rock's stand-up. He says he'll be hitting Vegas for some live performances in November.
