Paris Hilton happy to be single

Paris Hilton has vowed to remain single for the foreseeable future.

The hotel heiress, whose last long-term relationship was with Backstreet Boys heartthrob Nick Carter, says she is enjoying life on her own and has no intentions of getting tied down.

She said: "I've been in a relationship ever since I was 16, so this is the first time I've been single and I love it.

I'm young and I just need to be on my own to focus on my career.

I'm very happy being single at the moment."
