Patrick Dempsey couldn't wear his Scottish kilt in the traditional way for his new movie because it was too short. The 'Grey's Anatomy' star, who dons a mini-kilt for the Highland Games sequence of romantic comedy 'Made of Honor', didn't stick to tradition and go without underwear. He said: "I didn't go the whole hog and wear the kilt without any pants - the kilt was too short. But I did try it. Every morning and every afternoon - it was very refreshing! I should have asked if I could keep the little kilt after shooting finished!"Patrick - who has a six-year-old daughter Tallulah and one-year-old twins Darby and Sullivan with wife Jillian Fink - also said the kilt failed to protect him from the midges that were interrupting filming in Scotland. He added: "There were midges everywhere. There's one shot where my character is telling Michelle how much he loves her and we could barely get the shot because of all the midges. I was wearing a kilt and they were everywhere - I was surprised at how resourceful they were!"
