Pete Doherty is set to make his acting debut with a lead movie role.The Babyshambles frontman is set to star alongside British actress Kelly Brook, 27, in a remake of 'Carry On Cruising'.A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Pete was approached about playing a wannabe rock star who works as a performer on a cruise ship. "It's a rags to riches tale where in the end he gets it all - the lifestyle, the money and the girl."The modern day remake of the hit 1962 British comedy will see Pete fall for beautiful brunette Kelly, who plays a dancer working on the cruise ship.However, Pete's fiancée Kate Moss - who recently had her relationship with the rocker blessed in a Buddhist ceremony in Thailand - is said to be unhappy about the plans.While Kate is keen to finalise plans for the pair's impending wedding, Pete is in "serious" talks about his silver screen debut.
