Peter Andre plans to seduce Alexandra Burke with a home-cooked meal.

The 'Behind Closed Doors' star - who has remained single since he split from his ex-wife Katie Price earlier this year - is said to be smitten with the "seriously hot" British singer and is planning a romantic evening with her.

He told a friend: "I think she's really cool. She's seriously hot and once I've cooked for her, she won't be able to resist."

Since they met last week on a UK TV show, the pair have spoken every day through a series of "suggestive" conversations and texts.

Pete and Alexandra definitely like for each other and things are gathering pace between them. Pete is finally beginning to feel like the time is right to start dating again.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "They have been in non-stop text contact since, flirting with each other over the phone. It has been getting pretty suggestive with Pete's plan to impress her in the kitchen.

"Pete and Alexandra definitely like for each other and things are gathering pace between them. Pete is finally beginning to feel like the time is right to start dating again.

"He has even asked some friends for a Jamaican recipe to get her sizzling this weekend."

Alexandra is keen to impress the Australian hunk and has even discussed recording a duet with him.

The source added: "Alexandra was the one who broke the ice first. She was really complimentary about Peter's album. He thought it was really sweet and saw it as a green light to start flirting back. They have a lot in common and get on like a house on fire."

However, they might not get the quiet night in they had planned.

Katie, 31, flew out to Australia on Tuesday (10.11.09) in readiness for her appearance on gruelling UK reality TV show, 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here', leaving Peter to look after their children, Princess Tiaamii, two, and four-year-old son Junior for the next month.

Peter is also step-father to Katie's seven-year-old son Harvey, from a previous relationship.
