Phil Collins' website is to close.
The 'In The Air Tonight' singer's official site has experienced a massive decline in visitors, prompting his management to merge his site with his sometime band Genesis'.
However, the majority of the singer's fans are very unhappy the site is shutting down
Posting on a fan forum, the site's webmaster wrote: "I have been asked by Phil's management to let all forum members know that they plan to close down both the Phil Collins website and the forum at a date in the near future yet to be determined.
"Activity on the website and, more recently, on the forum has been in steady decline over the past couple of years and it has been decided that there is little point in having separate Genesis and Phil Collins websites. Some of the information on the Phil Collins site will be transferred to the Official Genesis Web Site and Phil Collins forum members are encouraged to join (if not already members) the Genesis forum on that site.
"I am sorry to be the bearer of such tidings. I wish all PC fans well in the future and hope that you enjoyed yourselves here for at least some of the time."
However, the majority of the singer's fans are very unhappy the site is shutting down.
One disgruntled fan posted: "I don't know why but I find the Genesis forum really boring, sorry."
