Pixie Lott loves sliding around her garden covered in washing up liquid.

The 'Mama Do' singer says her favourite summer activity is stripping off and turning her back garden into a soapy water slide with friends and family.

She explained: "When I think of summer I think of us all getting together at family barbeques and having a water fight. When we're at my mum's we play on a water slide with Fairy Liquid, which ruins the grass!"

The 18-year-old beauty also ventures outside when she's penning song lyrics.

She said: "If I'm really happy or upset, then that's when I want to write a song, so I'll go to the bottom of the garden and write down my feelings - you get the best lyrics when you are in the emotion of the moment."

Meanwhile, the British starlet - who currently lives with her parents Steve and Beverley in Billericay, east England - is desperate to buy a London home which she can decorate to her taste.

She added: "I want a pond and fairy lights and a pool. It will be wicked!"
