PORTIA DE ROSSI HATED ALLY'S GAY STORYLINE
Lesbian actress PORTIA DE ROSSI hated being part of the ALLY McBEAL cast when the show went gay.
The Australian star, who played icy NELL PORTER on the hit legal show, admits she was appalled when co-stars CALISTA FLOCKHART and LUCY LIU locked lips for one headline-grabbing scene.
She says, "No one knew I was gay when Calista did that famous kiss with Lucy Liu. I couldn't believe it, that whole episode - I hated it so much. It was just so upsetting to me as a gay woman."
