Last week, Dancing with the Stars had Dolly Parton. And this week? Another one of my faves—Queen Latifah.
Latifah performs during tomorrow night’s results show. But don’t go expecting any rap or hip-hop. She’ll be singing two songs—a cover of “California Dreamin” and “I’m Gonna Live Till I Die”—from her new album of vocals, Trav’lin' Light.
I saw Latifah perform both this summer at the Hollywood Bowl. Even with the range of material she sings, Latifah doesn't disappoint. It's time someone gave her a Broadway show!
I'm going to have even more of Latifah for you later in the week. I'll be catching up with her in Detroit, one of the many stops on her new nationwide tour.

Britney Spears was a no-show at the Just Britney art-show opening Friday in Hollywood.
No big whoop. Everyone seemed to have fun, nonetheless.
