The 36-year-old BRIDGET JONES actress married Chesney four months ago (MAY05) and allegedly longed to have babies galore with the country and western singer, but he flatly refused. A source told British newspaper The Mail on Sunday, "Her biological clock is ticking, she is desperate to have children. Renee's understanding was that Kenny wanted a family too. It was Kenny who got cold feet." In other reports RENEE ZELLWEGER's marriage to husband KENNY CHESNEY supposedly broke down because she found it impossible to accept the country music star's conservative views on marriage. The CHICAGO star wed Chesney only four months ago (MAY05) in a secret beach ceremony in the Caribbean, but this week (begs12SEP05) she began proceedings to have their union annulled. And it is believed Zellweger's determination to maintain her independence, and not conform to Chesney's housewife ideals that forced her to up and leave. A source tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "Kenny wants to be involved in every aspect of Renee's life, but she's an independent woman who's not used to being told what to do.
