Robbie Williams remembers dogs in art

Robbie Williams has had a series of bizarre paintings featuring his dogs dressed in Tudor outfits commissioned for his home.

Robbie Williams has commissioned paintings of his dead dogs.

The 'Angels' hitmaker - who shares his Los Angeles home with wife Ayda Field and seven canine companions - has commemorated his deceased pooches with artwork depicting the animals in Tudor costumes.

Showing several of the pictures on his website, he wrote: "Did I tell you that Duke passed away last year too?

"I had him immortalised, Bless my big boy. He just slept and farted... Much like? ;)

"And here's my King Rudy (I didn't do these BTW)."

Robbie also has a painting of himself with his newest dog Betty, again with both depicted in Tudor attire.

He added: "Those that asked for an update on Betty? Here she is with daddy at a Lady Gaga concert ;)"

The singer also used his blog post to show off some of his own art, a Mark Rothko-style painting interspersed with the artwork from Take That's recent 'Progress' album.

He wrote alongside the image: "I inverted a Rothko and put me and the boys on top.

"I always thought Rothkos were a bit daft then I went to see them... I changed my mind... or I instantly became pretentious. Either way, I dig."
