Robert Downey Jr to reveal all

Robert Downey Jr plans to reveal all in his autobiography.The 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' star signed a book deal with Harper Entertainment yesterday (06.07.06) and has promised readers a "candid look at the highs and lows of his life and career".Spokeswoman for the publishers, Marjorie Braman, said: "He has an intelligence which shines through all his performances, revealing his intellect as well as his acting abilities."His dramatic personal life, often at odds with his career, adds a layer of complexity to who he is."Downey Jr's turbulent private life is well documented. During the last 15 years, the 41-year-old actor has battled both drugs and alcohol, served time in jail and been court-ordered to attend rehab.The star, whose career spans almost 30 years, is best known for his roles in such films as 'Weird Science', 'Chaplin', 'Natural Born Killers' and 'Good Night, and Good Luck'.Downey Jr has also appeared in a number of hit TV shows including 'Ally McBeal' and has voiced a character in cult cartoon series 'Family Guy'.
