Rod Stewart has accidentally confessed he's only 5ft 2in tall.The 62-year-old singer has always insisted he's an average 5ft 10in but let his real measurements slip during an interview on a US radio station.Rod, who is engaged to 6ft 1in model Penny Lancaster, said: "There are a lot of things about me that people out there don't realise, with one exception I am definitely not 1.54 metres (just over 5ft) tall. "I get annoyed when people say, 'There's little Rod Stewart with Penny Lancaster.' That really gets on my nerves. I am almost 1.56 metres (5ft 2in) tall."Penny, 36, recently admitted Rod wasn't the tallest of men after revealing their 18-month-old son, Alistair, had inherited her lofty genes.She said: "Alistair really is a joy. He's above the average height now for his age so he takes after me."Despite his lack of height, Rod has never had trouble attracting leggy beauties.
