Aaron Johnson names daughter Romy Hero Johnson

Aaron Johnson and Sam Taylor-Wood have named their newborn daughter Romy Hero Johnson.

Aaron Johnson and Sam Taylor-Wood have revealed the name of their newborn baby.

The couple welcomed a daughter into the world at their Primrose Hill home in London earlier this month and have given the tot the name Romy Hero Johnson.

An official statement read: "Sam Taylor-Wood and Aaron Johnson are the proud parents of Romy Hero Johnson, who was born at home in London on January 18. Both mother and daughter are well."

Sam, 44, and 21-year-old Aaron already have an 18-month-old daughter, Wylda Rae, together, while the filmmaker has two girls, Anjelica, 14, and Jessie, five, with her ex-husband Jay Jopling.

The couple met on the set of John Lennon biopic 'Nowhere Boy' in 2009 and became engaged the same year.

Despite being criticised because of their 23-year age gap, Aaron has publicly defended his relationship with Sam insisting age differences shouldn't stop love.

He previously said: "I'm in love, I'm blissfully content. No one's getting hurt. We're in a loving relationship. We're engaged. Everyone who matters is happy. Exactly which bit of that do I have to defend or apologize for?"
