Sexist Comments Come Back To Haunt Connery.Former James Bond SIR SEAN CONNERY has pulled out of a Scottish political festival over fears he'll face tough questioning on domestic violence.The veteran Scottish actor is refusing to appear at the Festival of Politics in Edinburgh because he's worried claims he made in a 1975 Playboy magazine interview that it was okay to give a woman the occasional slap will come back to haunt him.

The star was scheduled to be interviewed by Holyrood Presiding Officer George Reid as part of the August (06) event but became unnerved when he found out that Reid was planning to grill him.Reid admits he intended to ask the actor "difficult questions".

This proves Sean Connery is a coward in every sense of the word. It also suggests that the allegations of domestic abuse were true. If they weren't, why would he have a problem talking about it?
