Samantha Morton to marry

'Minority Report' star Samantha Morton is getting married.

The British actress - who is best friends with Kate Moss - accepted fiance Harry Holm's proposal when he asked her to marry him last Saturday (13.05.06).

Morton said: "We're over the moon. We're very much in love and looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together."

The couple were in Paris, France celebrating her 29 th birthday at the time. They are expected to tie the knot in September (06).

Johnny Borrell - the frontman of British rock group Razorlight - has been named as best man.

Meanwhile the actress has signed up to play child killer Myra Hindley in a controversial drama for Britain's Channel 4 TV network.

Morton's character's partner in crime, Ian Brady, will be played by 'King Kong' and 'Lord Of The Rings' star, Andy Serkis.

Channel 4 boss Kevin Lygo has promised the one off drama will not aim to shock or offend, saying: "We don't go into the goriness and the hideous crimes.

"It's about Hindley and Lord Longford - who campaigned for her release - and his Catholic obsession for forgiveness and whether it's possible or appropriate.

"They both turn in extraordinary performances."
