Scarlett Johansson has infuriated her neighbours by chain-smoking.The 22-year-old actress refuses to open her windows when she lights up and the smoke is wafting into the hall of her apartment block and causing a stink with the fellow residents.'The Black Dahlia' star has reportedly turned to the nasty nicotine habit in a bid to get through a rough patch with her actor boyfriend Josh Hartnett, who is currently shooting '30 Days of Night' in New Zealand.A neighbour revealed to Life and Style Weekly magazine that when he confronted Scarlett about the smell, with an apartment supervisor in tow, she snapped: "Don't you read the newspaper? I am going through a difficult time right now."The supervisor then suggested she just open the window slightly to avoid further disagreements, to which Scarlett retorted: "Sure, I'll open the window, and that will fix everything."Scarlett is reportedly still reeling over recent allegations that Josh was spotted enjoying a weekend in Sydney with his co-star, New Zealand actress Amber Sainsbury, sparking more rumours their relationship is on the rocks.Videos you might like
