Sean Connery wants to play James Bond's father.The 76-year-old actor, considered by many to be the best Bond, claims he would consider ending his self-imposed semi-retirement if offered the role - but only for a huge pay day.He is quoted by Britain's Daily Express newspaper as saying: "If there was a good part in a Bond film, I'd certainly look at it, but it would definitely cost them."The 76-year-old - who is also rumoured to be reprising his role as Indiana Jones' father in a fourth movie - also revealed that money played a role in his decision to ditch the role of 007 back in 1971. He explained: "Apart from the pay, which was puerile, they were bringing in a lot of science fiction stuff, like the poisonous shoe in 'From Russia With Love'."They had all these gizmos, which today are commonplace that I don't mind, but when you get into nuclear stuff it's silly. So I said 'Diamonds Are Forever' would be the last one."Connery also revealed that he is irked at being remembered just for his role as the famous secret agent.
