Sean Connery Given The All-clear.

Scottish actor Sir SEAN CONNERY was given the all-clear after tests revealed lumps in his throat were cancer-free.

The 76-year-old has been receiving annual checks since throat growths first appeared over 20 years ago (76).

Two weeks ago he pulled out of an event in New York to visit a clinic.

But his brother Neil, who also has the condition, says, "He was given the all clear."

Connery said last week (begs09Apr07), "I did receive my annual checks. I am feeling well."

The Untouchables actor's father Joe died from throat cancer aged 69.
