Shiva Rose isn’t letting the split from her hubby of 12 years, Dylan McDermott, get in the way of stepping out to a celebrity soiree.Just hours after the couple announced they had separated, Rose was at a private dinner party last night for about 30 people at the Los Angeles home of Desperate Housewives star Kyle MacLachlan and his wife, publicity queen and Project Runway executive producer Desiree Gruber."Shiva was looking gorgeous," a fellow party guest reports. "She was laughing and just having a great time." In July, Rose told Planet Gossip’s Matt Donnelly she had mixed feelings about McDermott returning to television in the new ABC series Big Shots. "It’ll be bittersweet, because he won’t be around," she said at the TMG International Style L.A. fashion show.Last night’s get-together showcased Stuart Weitzman’s online celebrity auction featuring shoes designed by boldfaced names like Oprah Winfrey, Queen Latifah, Sharon Stone, Vanessa Willams, Charlize Theron and Mario Lopez. Proceeds benefit ovarian cancer research.Also at the party were MacLachlan’s Desperate pals Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Dana Delaney and James Denton.The evening also included remarks from a research scientist about the latest developments in fighting ovarian cancer, according to my source.
