Snoop has been in trouble with the law on several occasions in the last year.

Last September, he tried to board a plane in California while carrying a 20-inch collapsible baton in a computer bag.

The rapper-and-actor claimed the baton was a movie prop, not a weapon.

In March, Snoop was questioned by Stockholm police for suspected narcotics use.

The UK leg of his tour with P Diddy was cancelled last month after he was denied entry into Britain, following a brawl in London's Heathrow airport last year.

Snoop's arraignment has been set for today (11.04.07).
