During the Whoudini tribute, Nelly and Jermaine Dupri performed 80s dance moves while Whoudini delivered their classic raps.

Meanwhile, Missy Elliot watched as Timbaland joined Eve, Ciara, Nelly Furtado and Keyshia Cole performed a selection of her hits.

Bow Wow joined Snoop on stage for a live performance, while Busta Rhymes, Common and Lupe Fiasco performed A Tribe Called Quest's 'Scenario'.

LL Cool J, Ne-Yo and Chris Rock also attended the ceremony, which was hosted by Tracy Morgan.
