Stacey Solomon is set to tie the knot to her boyfriend Aaron Barham after he popped the question in New York's Central Park.

The reality TV star will tie the knot to her long-term boyfriend Aaron Barham after he popped the question on a romantic carriage ride in New York's Central Park.

Her spokesman Max Clifford confirmed: "Stacey and Aaron are engaged and we're all absolutely thrilled for them.

"They're a lovely genuine couple who get on so well. It's a wonderful finale to what has been a tremendous year for her."

The former 'X Factor' contestant - who has three-year-old son Zac from a previous relationship - is expecting the couple's first child in May.

Stacey - who won jungle reality TV show 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!' in 2010 - took to her twitter account to reveal Aaron had asked her for hand in marriage.

She tweeted: "I can't believe he's finally asked me."

But her photographer father David has ruled himself out of taking the official pictures on the brunette beauty's big day.

He said: "I will have father of the bride duties to carry out - so I will be taking a day off from work."

In October, Stacey, 22, revealed the pair are "really excited" about expecting their first child together.

She explained: "We are really excited. And I'm really looking forward to everything, knowing I am sharing it with the person I want to spend my life with.

"I was nervous because we weren't planning a child. But the first thing he did was smile. As soon as I saw that, I knew everything would be OK."
