Suzanne Shaw and her husband Jason King have decided to end their marriage due to work pressures.

Suzanne Shaw has split from her husband Jason King.

The couple have decided to call time on their six-year relationship and have blamed their busy careers on the separation.

In a joint statement released today (14.02.12), the pair said: "We had a wonderful time together and have great memories but constantly working away from each other added a lot of pressure and we have ended up growing apart.

'We are still friends and will be making sure we still have family time together for our son's sake."

Suzanne has a seven-year-old son, Corey, from her relationship with Darren Day, which ended in 2005.

The former Hear'Say singer and DJ Jason - who is one half of radio and TV presenting duo JK and Joel with Joel Ross - dated for three years before getting engaged in 2008 and tied the knot in Christchurch, Dorset, South West England, in June 2009.

The family moved to Yorkshire after Suzanne was cast in soap opera 'Emmerdale' in April 2010 for a year, Jason is currently presenting the Heart Breakfast radio show alongside Lucy Horobin on radio station Heart Solent.

He also presents 'Flirt!TV on Tour' with Joel which sees the duo travel the UK each week to experience university night life.
