Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's Cashmere Gift To Homeless Woman

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has revealed she spoilt the life of a homeless woman - by giving her expensive clothes.The brunette socialite gave a homeless lady so many cashmere tops that people no longer believed she lived on the streets.Tara said: "I used to give all my cashmere tops to one particular homeless lady, but people stopped giving her money because she was too fabulously dressed." Tara also admits she likes to do good deeds, but won't make a song and dance about it like most celebrities.She is quoted in Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I don't believe in doing the whole celebrity thing of going to Africa and staying in a five-star hotel, only to then appear on the cover of Hello! magazine going on about how awful conditions are out there."I prefer to be more spontaneous and down to earth about things; I often pay homeless people to come round and clean my car - I'll even make them soup to keep them going."
