'Desperate Housewives' creator Mark Cherry says Teri Hatcher begged him to write her a love scene. The writer - who was also behind 80s sitcom 'Golden Girls' - claims the actress wanted some spice on screen because she was single in real life.He revealed to America's USA Today newspaper: "I remember her coming to me and saying, 'Let me sleep with someone!'" Cherry joked Hatcher "is always complaining that she doesn't have a boyfriend in real life, so I think she pushes me to have her date on the show because it's the only action she gets."Meanwhile, the actress has revealed she has no plans to quit the hit dramedy. She revealed: "I love Susan more than anything. When they write her well, there is nothing more fun."I really would love to do this show for as many years as it runs, so I have no interest in anything but this show being as good as it can be. That all said, I have nothing to do with the writing."

Hatcher recently told Oprah Winfrey how she was dumped by boyfriend Ryan Seacrest - by phone.

The star told the US talk show host how the 'American Idol' host called it off after they were snapped kissing and cuddling on only their third date, back in March.

She said: "I haven't seen him since that day. He called me and said, 'I don't think I can do this with you'."
