Soul band member has died

The Commodores former keyboardist, Milan B Williams, had passed away after suffering from cancer.An original band member, Milan created the group's debut single, an instrumental entitled Machine Gun and performed on numerous tunes like Three Times A Lady and Easy. "He was once, twice, three times a brother and we love him," said Walter Orange, a fellow member of the legendary ensemble.The 58 year old artist died in the States at the weekend and is survived by his wife and two children, according to BBC News Online.The Commodores where given a record deal by Motown Records after completing a music tour with the Jackson Five and it's lead singer was Lionel Richie, who decided to go solo in 1983. Williams also left six years later.
