Lawsuit Against Dicaprio And Maguire Thrown Out.A Hollywood producer has had his lawsuit against LEONARDO DiCAPRIO and TOBEY MAGUIRE dismissed, in which he claimed the actors deliberately tried to prevent the release of a movie made before they were famous.JOHN SCHINDLER had alleged the stars conspired to block DON'S PLUM, which took six days to shoot in 1995 and 1996, from being distributed.However, yesterday (21DEC06) Los Angeles Superior Court Judge MARY ANN MURPHY threw the case out.Defence lawyer JOHN LAVELY had argued that the actual producer of Don's Plum was DAVID STUTMAN. Stutman also sued DiCaprio and Maguire and settled with the actors in 1999.
