Tom Selleck is refusing to be typecast as an old man - despite recently turning 60. The 'Magnum' star says he wants casting directors to base their decisions on his acting talents rather than his birth certificate. He said: "It's a big number but most people don't think of me as 60 and I don't always play 60. It would be better for work if I as known to be an actor of indeterminate age somewhere between Brad Pitt and death. That way I can get more parts in different age ranges." The handsome star also revealed he would be willing to star in a remake of 'Magnum'. He is quoted by Britain's Daily Express newspaper as saying: "If they put some big explosions in and make fun of it I won't support the movie, but if they want to pay homage to the series they're going to have a long-running franchise - and I think I should be in it."

I hope Mr Selleck keeps his refusal not to play old man roles. He is still a vibrant and sexy guy. I sure would'nt kick him out of bed! Ha!
