Hillary Clinton, U.S presidential hopeful has been challenged by Pearl Harbour star, Alec Baldwin, to back the major changes to federal food policy when legislation affecting school lunches comes to a vote on 16 Nov 07 (end of this week).The actor has urged Hillary to look at federal food policies that keep high-fat, high-cholesterol and high sugar foods plentiful in schools, by writing to her. If Clinton becomes the next president of the U.S Baldwin wants her to oppose the Farm Bill in a bid to prove that she cares about childhood obesity issues, and will fight for a healthier America.According to the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, the controversial bill is “responsible for a multitude of environmental, health, economic, and social problems, as well as the appalling state of school lunches.”
