Uma Thurman is 'happier' than ever with love life

Uma Thurman says she is happier in her love life now than she has been for ''many, many years''.
Uma Thurman is happier with her love life now than she has been in "many, many years".
The 41-year-old actress - who was previously married to Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke - reunited with financier Arpad Busson last year following a split in November 2009 after two years of dating and is more content than ever in her personal life.
She said: "I have something I would really like to express about my love life. I'm happier with it now than I've been in many, many years. Yes I'm trying to have as peaceful a personal life as possible."
The 'Bel Ami' actress also admitted she felt "awkward" until she was 35 and her career eventually helped her feel comfortable with herself.
She explained to the new issue of Britain's Harpers Bazaar magazine: "Acting was a place where I could fit in with those who didn't fit in.
"People who grow too fast usually have a very long awkward phase. Mine ended around 35."
However, Uma hit out at the "aggressive" nature of the film industry, expressing her frustration at how easily stars are written off.
She said: "There's a lot of aggressive talk in this business.
"You turn 18 and they say you won't have a career at 20. You turn 24 and they say you won't last till you're 30. Now it's like, if I'm so over, why are you talking to me now?"
