Victoria Beckham allegedly jetted 550 miles - for a haircut.
The former Spice Girl reportedly flew to the UK from Germany - where she is watching husband David in the football World Cup - so her hairstylist could attach some new hair extensions yesterday (28.06.06).
The 32-year-old star was apparently determined to get her hair done after photos taken of her last week made it look like she had developed a bald patch.
A source said: "She was furious when pictures appeared to show her with a bald spot. She wanted it sorted out before the Portugal game."
Angelo Georgiou, who owns the London salon where Victoria went, said: "We’ve been doing Victoria’s hair for six years. Two days ago she phoned asking if we could go out to Germany to put in a new set of hair extensions. But in the end she came to London. She had a full head for £1,500."
He added: "Her hair is now a lot thicker. But she never had a bald spot."
Victoria’s personal assistant said the star was due in London to meet her book publishers last night.
She will return to Germany today (29.06.06).
