Ferrell Shocked By Paragliding Death Reports.
Comedian WILL FERRELL was stunned by reports he had been killed paragliding last year (06), especially as he's never attempted the extreme sport.
For Ferrell the worst was yet to come, when he had to inform his entire family that he was, in fact, alive.
He says, "I was in Montreal filming my new ice skating film, BLADES OF GLORY, when it came out.
"I had to call my family and make sure extended family members and friends weren't calling them. It was slightly stressful.
"The funny thing is I have never been paragliding"
Meanwhile the American funnyman is desperate to work on hit BBC television show Extras because he is a huge fan of its creator and star, Ricky Gervais. The Blades Of Glory star admits he hasn't been asked to do the show - but is dying to be approached by his British counterpart. Ferrell, 39, says, "I love Ricky. He is amazing. "He hasn't approached me to do Extras - at least not that I know of. "I would do it if he asked."
