Amy Adams has been shortlisted for a gong at The Three Empire Awards.

The flame-haired beauty is set to go head to head with 'Jackie' star Natalie Portman, Ruth Negga for her role in 'Loving', 'La La Land' leading lady Emma Stone and Felicity Jones to be crowned the Best Actress at the prestigious ceremony, which will take place in London's The Roundhouse on March 19, according to BBC News.

The awards ceremony was voted by the public, who are evidently in favour of 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story', which has received nine nods, whilst 'Arrival' has been recognised in seven categories.

The follow up movie has seen Riz Ahmed nominated for Best Male newcomer, filmmaker Gareth Edwards for Best Director, whilst the production has been nominated as Best Film and Best Science Fiction and Fantasy film.

And 'Rogue One: A star Wars Story' will go head to head with 'La La Land', 'Arrival' and 'Deadpool' to come away with the Best Film gong.

Meanwhile Ryan Gosling - who played the role of Sebastian in the musical romance 'La La Land' - is up against Ryan Reynolds for his performance in 'Deadpool', Casey Affleck for 'Manchester by the Sea', Benedict Cumberbatch and Eddie Redmayne to be recognised as Best Actor.
