Jessica Simpson expecting a girl?

Jessica Simpson has revealed she thinks she is expecting a baby girl but her fiance Eric Johnson disagrees and thinks they are having a boy.

The singer-and-actress is currently expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson and although the couple don't yet know whether they will have a son or a daughter, Jessica has a feeling the child will be female.

She told People: "I think it's a girl. But I don't know yet."

However, Eric disagrees and said: "I think it's a boy. We're pretty much at a standstill there."

However, the couple will soon know for certain as they are planning to have a scan to determine the sex of the baby on Monday (05.12.11).

Jessica told USmagazine.com: "I'm so excited. We have a couple names picked out for [if it's a boy or a girl], but we're going to keep that private.

"I like to plan things out. It'll be good to know how to paint the nursery. I'm obsessed with thinking about what it's going to look like."

Jessica added the best part of being pregnant is "just knowing that [Eric] and I created something inside of me is so crazy to think about. We love each other so much, and knowing that I love this baby inside of me is so amazing."
