Bruce Willis has sold his Beverly Hills home for $16.5 million, which is well below the initial $22 million asking price.

Bruce Willis has sold his Beverly Hills home at a knockdown price

The 'Die Hard' actor put his luxurious Spanish-style hacienda up for sale for $22 million in May 2013, but has finally decided to sell the property for $16.5 million after it failed to attract the interest he'd anticipated.

However, Bruce will still make a huge profit as he paid a relatively modest $9 million for the house in 2004, but felt a higher selling price was justified because of the extensive renovations he had undertaken since moving in.

The impressive property boasts a screening room, a library and a chef's kitchen, as well as a tennis court, a large pool and an outdoor kitchen.

The 59-year-old actor had been living in the 11-bathroom property with his wife Emma and their two daughters, Mabel, two, and Evelyn, three months, but they have now relocated to a luxury condo in New York City.

The 'Pulp Fiction' star owns a number of homes in Southern California and New York.

He recently sold two properties in Idaho, including a nightclub he owned with ex-wife Demi Moore.
