Camila Cabello was "so so happy" to meet Stormzy at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).

The 20-year-old singer stole the show with her performance of 'Havana' and also picked up the Best Pop prize at the ceremony at the SSE Arena, Wembley, in north London on Sunday (12.11.17) but the highlight of her evening was coming face-to-face with the grime superstar.

Along with a string of heart emojis, she tweeted: "btw i love u @Stormzy1 , i'm such a fan!!!!! so SO happy i got to meet u (sic)"

And Stormzy was equally happy to meet the former Fifth Harmony singer.

He posted: "You are such a G Camila and thank you nice to meet you (sic)"

Stormzy - who performed 'Big for Your Boots' - was also "very content" to meet singer/songwriter Julia Michaels, who took to the stage with Clean Bandit.

He posted: "I met Julia Michaels the queen of the pen and I am very content right now (sic)"

And it seems a collaboration could be on the cards if the response from Julia - who has penned hits for the likes of Demi Lovato, Gwen Stefani and Hailee Steinfeld - is an indicator.

She replied: "You are amazing! Let's get in! (sic)"

The 'Shut Up' hitmaker was bowled over when U2 accepted their Icon Award, and frontman Bono belted out a few lines from one of his tracks in lieu of a speech.

Shocked Stormzy posted: "Bruvvvvvvv OMGGGG I'm hearing @U2 sang Blinded By Your Grace PT.2 ?!?! (sic)"

While Stormzy - whose real name is Michael Owuo Jr. - had a great time at the event, he wisely decided to stop tweeting during the evening after having a few alcoholic drinks.

He posted: Drunk mike signing out before I chat s**t and blow up your timeline lol love you all thank you (sic)"
